JTF PRECEPTORS
|
Since percs're the most noticeable perk of belonging to a guild, maybe we could post some of our general strategy for using this tool. I'd also like to have a fairly dynamic table listing locations of deployed perceptors, as well as an idea of what the map is like (close, medium, or long range) as a heads up for defenders (this can wait until they - and we - are somewhat more robust).
HP: 900
Item tax: 1%
Exp tax: 5%
Spells: Rock (1)
DEPLOYMENT
Preferred range of engagement:
SpacemanSpliff - close
Kelar - long
SmokeyMcBowlz - long
Tiandrea - medium?
PoisonOrange - medium
To take a glance at the starting positions of a map, start a battle or a duel. The defenders get the blue squares.
If somebody has an idea for a nice spot for a perc, let an officer know!
DEFENSE
While you shouldn't feel obligated to defend a perceptor, it's often a very enjoyable battle, since you often don't know what you'll be up against. It's also a great way to get to fight with other online guildmembers. If you see a perc under attack, you can click the underlined link to take you straight to your guild page. Try to send a /g message to let others know you'll be fighting. Should the tide of battle turn ill, you won't lose any energy points for dying (although you will be returned to your saved zaap point with 1 health point), so there's little risk for the defenders. On the other hand, attackers who fail lose a whooping 3000 energy points plus 10 per level, and leave whatever foolhardiness led them to attack a JTF perc on the field, next to their steaming entrails.
TAXES
Since our is guild is still in its fledgling stages, I'd like to give all members the permission to collect the tax from our percs - they don't steal much, and they may always be attacked and robbed. If this is a problem for any of the officers though, we can talk about it.
