MERCHANT INFORMATION
The JTF would like to sell:
We would like to buy:
- Fire kwak feathers for 3kk or less.
It would be nice to have a page where guildmembers can post their merchant locations and prices, and possibly the names of reliable merchants and their common locations as well. If there are particular items we have several of between us, we can try and work some price gouging as well once in a while. If anybody has any ideas for this section, let me (or somebody else who is working on this) know.
PEOPLE AND LOCATIONS
I'd like to have a spot where JTF members consistently set up shop and offer items and reasonable prices. If we have a predicatable location, Dofus shoppers will get to know our guild and become repeat customers for those items which we cannot use. At the moment, Kelar, SmokeyMcBowlz, and I have been trying to set up shop together south of the (5,7) zaap, but we've been a bit lazy about it. Ideally, there would be six of us parked at (4,-20) with our matching capes and hats monopolizing the hemp and glass bowl trade, but that's a pretty big project.
GUILD GUIDELINES
- please offer at least 1 unit of hemp or a glass bowl for 420 kamas, just for appearance's sake. If you have trouble getting these items, ask me and i'll give em to ya. Should anybody want to purchase large quantites of hemp, I sell in bushels of 420 units for 10,000 kamas. Providing weed to the masses is foremost among the Joint Task Force's community building projects. If anybody can help supply the material, please let me know!
- please do not overcharge for potions, bread and common items. It gives our guild a bad name. So I don't want to see anybody selling gob amulets for more than 300, or wholemeal bread for more than 65. Sell those gobhammers for 5,000... I know you can squeeze a couple extra kk, but trust me its not worth it. If you run a reliable merchant with decent prices, people will remember your name, and next time they see you selling hammer skill for 450kk they will figure it's the going rate (for rare items like this, in truth there is no real going rate, so your credibility as a merchant becomes extremely important.)
- please try to shop around a little before you place things in your store so that your prices are slightly cheaper than average. If you're not sure about something, do not list until you have an idea of what to charge.
- offer resources to guildmembers first! You'd be surprised at what some of us think is worthwhile keeping. (oh boy Boowolf testicles! My favorite!)
- lastly: don't rip people off... it's not worth the bad reputation and the bad karma. A good trade is NOT a zero-sum deal! A good trade leaves both buyer and seller happy.
